Merryn Landry is an American/Australian actress, comedian, and writer. Born in Rome, Italy, Landry grew up traveling around the world with her family spending most of her childhood in South East Asia. In 1995, Landry's family moved to the U.S, where she spent her high school and college years in Ohio. After earning a bachelor's degree from Kent State University, Landry moved to Los Angeles, where she is currently resides.  Merryn is an alumna of the Upright Citizens Brigade Improv and Sketch program, and is currently in the core track at Groundlings.

Merryn was diagnosed with Dyslexia and ADD at the age of 6, and has spent most her her life dealing with her learning disabilities while moving around the world and changing schools. Her experience of high school in the US, as a student with disabilities was troublesome and extremely excruciating when dealing with administrations who knew little to nothing about how to help those with dyslexia. Through Merryn's determination, and creative endeavor's she found a way to overcome her challenges with her learning difficulties.

Merryn is now dedicated to being a more proactive voice in the world about being dyslexic and having a brain that is powered by ADD to fight the stigma's that most face when dealing with day to day life. She hopes through her comedy, plays, web series, and blog that she can make a difference in today's world. Merryn believes that having dyslexia and ADD gives her a super power, to take on and change minds about learning disabilites.
